8 Students Injured in School Bus Accident

Yesterday, a school bus accident in DeKalb County injured 8 middle school students. Thankfully, 7 of them received minor enough injuries to avoid hospitalization; however, one was taken to Egleston Children's Hospital. Captain Eric Jackson of DeKalb County Fire and Rescue said that no child received broken bones or had been bleeding.

The bus was reportedly struck by an 18-wheeler, according to students on the bus. The accident occurred before 4 PM while the bus was transporting 19 students from one school to another.

While students were not taken to the hospital by ambulance, a few of the victims were taken to the hospital by their parents.

In both cases, our law firm hopes that the investigative teams on each case swiftly determine the cause of the accidents. Our hearts go out to the families of those who were harmed in these collisions.
