Is my employer required to have workers' comp insurance?

Yes, if your employer employs three or more employees, he/she is required to have workers' compensation insurance and provide its benefits to all full-time and part-time employees.

What steps should I take after being injured on the job?

If you have been injured on the job, you must inform your employer at once. This can be done either verbally or in writing.
